Preparation
Trim excess fat from wings and cut off wing tips; throw out tips. Cut wings into wingettes and drumettes. Place wingettes and drummettes in a large saucepan, add just enough water to cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
Preheat barbecue on medium heat.
Combine ingredients for honey garlic sauce. Set aside about 1/4 cup sauce to brush on wings during grilling. Toss half the wings in the remaining honey garlic sauce; stir until wings are well coated in sauce.
Toss remaining wings in hot sauce until well coated.
Put wings on the grill. Cook for 15-20 minutes, turning wings frequently and brushing saved honey garlic sauce on the honey garlic wings. Wings should be crisp and nicely glazed.
Remove from grill and serve immediately. Blue Cheese Dip goes well with the hot wings.
Tips: For additional heat on the hot wings, choose a really hot pepper sauce and baste the hot wings with extra hot sauce during cooking.|Trim excess fat from wings and cut off wing tips; throw out tips.
